Goas Jewel in the
Crown
A part of Goas Western coastline along the Arabian Sea, is
the Anjuna Beach. About 18 km from the Goan Capital Panaji, the
Anjuna Beach is more popular than the rest of the Goan beaches because of
the famed Wednesday Flea Market the nicest bet for shopaholics at
Goa. The Anjuna Beach is rocky and not a good bet for water sports. But for
nocturnals there are trance bars and rave parties that rock the beach almost
every night. The Anjuna - Baga - Calangute beach-belt, north of Panaji, is
Goas most populous and developed tourist destination.
