Access AIR: The Bodhgaya Airport is at a distance of 8 km from the city center. The only International flights that arrive here are India Airlines, Silk Air and Srilankan. Another nearest domestic Airport is at Gaya which has regular flights to the International Airports at Delhi and Kolkata. From here you can hire a private cab to Bodhgaya.

RAIL: The Gaya Junction is the nearest railhead well connected to the main cities like Delhi and Kolkata. There are daily trains between Gaya and the State capital Patna, which again is a very important junction of the North-Eastern Railway.

ROAD: From Patna you can take the NH83 via Bikram, Jehanabad, Belaganj and reach Gaya. Another route is NH2 that links Kolkata to Delhi via Varanasi, Allahabad, Kanpur and Agra.
