Access
AIR : Jodhpur Airport, 5 km away from the city center it has
daily flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Udaipur and Jaipur. The reservation office
of the India's official airways Indian Airlines is south of the city near
the Ajit Bhawan Hotel.
RAIL : Jodhpur has two railway stations - City and Rai-ka-Bagh -
both outside the walled city. The bus stand is bang opposite Rai-ka-Bagh
Railway station. The best trains are Jodhpur-Jaipur Intercity Express,
Jodhpur-Kota Express, Jodhpur-Bikaner Passenger. Foreign tourists can head
for the International Tourist Bureau at the Railway Station for special

ROAD : From here you can travel to Bikaner and Jaisalmer by good
roads. RSTC buses ply between Jodhpur and all the major cities such as
Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Jaipur. The main Roadways Bus Stand is centrally
located. The common route from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer is via Agolai, Dechu and
Pokhran. However, for an interesting journey you should try the
lesser-traveled route via Osian and Phalodi.
