One of Oberoi hallmark properties, Rajvilas was awarded Tatler's "Hotel of the Year", Gourmet's "Most Exotic Resort in the World", Condé Nast Traveler's "Readers Travel Award". No wonder, Bill Clinton, during his state visit to India, didn't really give a second thought to lodging at Rajvilas. Also, Mr. Oberoi himself chose to celebrate his daughter's marriage here.

Rajvilas has Deluxe rooms (with lavish bathrooms, teak floors and outdoor decks), luxury tents and royal villas. Interestingly, the hotel does not have the history of an original heritage property, yet the look and fell of everything, right from the draping in the room to the ambiance about the place, more than makes up and at times even better than the other heritage hotels there.

The food served at the Surya Mahal restaurant ranges from Oriental, European to traditional Rajasthani palates. A special feature at Rajvilas is the Al Fresco dining experience.
