Leela Palace Hotel, Bangalore

Category : 5 Star Deluxe (Govt. Approved)

Why stay at The Leela Palace....

Location:
The grand Hotel Leela Palace stands tall overlooking the bustling Silicon-city and the Bangalore airport (distance: 5min). The city center is just 10min away and the International Technology Park is hardly a 20min drive away.

The Leela Palace 'look':
The building is an architectural marvel of sorts with a visible echo of the once Vijaynagar dynasty. The interiors are laid with hand woven carpets, while the decor consists of all antique pieces picked with precision.

Accommodation at the Leela Palace:
The look at the deluxe rooms will leave you saying, “Quite a size”, for with an entire bay of living room, dining room and a bed room, it is a mini-house actually. There are also separate powder rooms for guests. The executive rooms, too, are a story of grandeur. And why not, for the two top floors of Leela Palace has about 53 rooms and 6 executive suites that affiliated to the international brand in the hospitality industry – The Royal Club. Some temptations include lounges – sports, champagne, billiard and cigar, international magazines, 29” Sony Flat screen Television, steam cubicle, broadband Internet with high speed and needless to mention, unrivaled 24X7 room service.

Restaurants at Leela Palace:
Go to Citrus for that scrumptious Sunday Brunch (breakfast at lunch-time). The cuisine served includes Indian, Mediterranean, International and Contemporary varieties. For that classic dining experience go to the Leela Palace special Jamavar Restaurant (good for both north and south Indian food). The Library Bar is the typical lounge for romancing books sipping your favorite glass of wine. Those in love with Oriental delights have a virtual heaven here at the in-house restaurant, Zen, with a menu that spans Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Japan and Bali. Missing the mention of China? Ok, you have Dim Sum, an exquisite Chinese eatery.

Events and more:
The Leela Palace has huge halls with state-of-the-art facilities for infinite events. From 20 to 500 guests can be accommodated in the different halls available here – the Grand Ballrooms, the Royal Ballroom and the meeting rooms. Some equipments include laser disc player, high resolution and LCD data projectors, beta cam, portable recorder, 16 channel audio mixer, cordless/podium/collar mikes and many more.

Reviews

The Leela Palace Hotel of Bangalore is one of the very few Indian hotels that stands up to the expectations, and at times even more than that, of a foreign tourist. Especially the Royal Club services are super cool. In fact the members of the Royal Club have better provisions. Good if you are already a member and if you are not apply for it.
