Woodville Palace’s slice of history:
Sir William Mansfield, Commander in Chief of the British army was the first owner of this royal abode, which later got reconstructed in 1938 by the Rana of Jubbal into a grand palace. The tradition of hosting guests began way back in 1977 and today the Palace stands transformed totally into a Heritage Resort in the British favorite summer retreat, Shimla.

The Palace’s 27 rooms include quaint cottages and suites, all replete with state-of-the-art amenities. They have attached baths and round the clock room service.

Food:
The Woodville Palace Resort’s menu card is a concoction of delicacies from myriad kitchens across the world, with a special emphasis on local (Himachali) and Chinese items. The colonial styled bar serves exotic cocktails and spirits and is a perfect evening repository, especially when it is snowing outside.

Meetings and Banquets at Woodville Palace Resort:
The Resort has one grand hall for hosting corporate events and informal gatherings. Some 70 persons can be accommodated and catering service can also be arranged for. The lawns also serves as excellent venue for hosting events.
