AIR :The nearest airport is situated at Agra, which is 56 km from Bharatpur. All major airlines operate daily tourist shuttle flights to Agra, Khajuraho, Varanasi and back. The nearest international airport is at Delhi (179 km). However, Jaipur (171 km) will be the most convenient landing, if you are flying from cities like Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.

RAIL : The Bharatpur railway station, 6 km from the park, is well connected to all the major cities of Rajasthan and its neighboring states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana. Lying on the Delhi-Mumbai trunk route, Bharatpur is served by a number of important trains from Delhi by daily trains like the Intercity Exp., Golden Temple Exp., Paschim Exp., Mewar Exp., Dehradun Exp. The trains from Mumbai are Goldentemple Exp., Paschim Exp., Dehradun Exp. and FZR Janta. Besides, Bharatpur is also a part of the itinerary of the royal luxury train Palace on Wheels that starts from Delhi once weekly.
