Kanha National Park


Access
AIR:Nagpur is the nearby airport, and has connecting flights to all major cities in India. From Delhi and Mumbai, Indian Airlines have daily operations to Nagpur. From Kolkata and Hyderabad there are flights operating three times a week to Nagpur. It is well connected from Mumbai and Chennai by Jet Airways flight operating regularly.

RAIL: The nearest railheads are Jabalpur (164 km) and Nagpur (226 km). You can reach Jabalpur from Delhi by Mahakoshal Exp. and Gondwana Express running daily. From Mumbai you can take Rajendra Ngr Exp., LTT RJPB Exp., Mahanagari Exp., Gorakhpur Express and Kolkata Mail to reach Jabalpur.

ROAD: From Jabalpur you can reach Kanha by regular buses. From all the nearby towns, there are car rental facilities including all terrain 4-wheelers, available to reach Kanha. From Nagpur it takes around 6 hrs from to Kisli by car. The drive up to Seoni (130 Km) on Jabalpur National highway is bump-free. The Kisli gate of the park can be reached from Seoni via Nainpur, Chiraidongri and Keolari. Make your way through Balaghat and Boihar from Seoni to reach the Mukki gate of the park. To reach the park from Jabalpur (Has fairly good rail road and air connections to all major Indian cities) you can drive through Tikaria and Mandla.
